Environmental Affairs
The Environmental Affairs department was formed to manage Mikisew GIR’s numerous environmental files and interests, such as the Delta Institute, the Wood Buffalo National Park Action Plan, the Community-Based Monitoring Program, the Community-Based Environmental Monitoring Training Program, Oil Sands Monitoring Program, and Oil Sands Process Water and Tailings Management.
