Mikisew GIR is committed to long-term change and enlightenment on Indigenous rights, the traditions and culture of the Mikisew people, Indigenous knowledge and the ecology of the Peace-Athabasca Delta. Our goal is to empower the Mikisew people to play a role in land stewardship through community-based monitoring and shared governance.
